Has anyone else gotten a letter recently from Ford extending warranty coverage for the fuel injectors on 'certain' 5.4L engines in 2005 trucks? I got one yesterday and was a little surprised. They reference 'Customer Satisfaction Program 07M08' and are extending warranty coverage for fuel injectors to 11 years or 120k miles from the original warranty start date. This applies only to injectors that are stuck open or closed. I had not heard of this problem - is it common? I hope they make a similar offer regarding the spark plug problem, the steering wheel nibble issue, the drive shaft 'clunk' issue, etc, etc.

I got mine yesterday. Now I'm just waiting for the one about how they'll replace my spark plugs for free at 100K miles...

Got mine this morning - I had my #5 injector get stuck open about 2 months ago and glad to read I will get reimbursed for the repair costs!
