E-FAN Report

I know this is going to hard to believe, but I just returned from a trip of 831 miles and used 35 gallons of gas, which comes out 23.7 mpg. I will keep checking it to be sure , but WOW if it's true. I recently installed Troyer fans and a Trifecta bed cover. I also have a K&N drop in and cat back duals. It's a 2003 Sport 4x4, 5.4, Auto., and I drove about 77 mph most of the way. The truck has about 31,000 on it.

you can expect about 2-3 mpg increase with the fans, as long as your right foot behaves.

Question 24 Mpg

Sorry, but that's what it did. I had the cruise set most of the way and it was mostly flat terrain with little wind and about 60 degrees. Like I said I will check it again. I don't know if it was a fluke or what, but I have gotten 20 mpg in the past from this truck and that was before the e-fans.

Hey King, what rear gears are you running? 3:55 or 3:73?

24 mpg

Torkum,

They're 3:55s.

Gerrod,

You may have experience with e fans, but you also have a blower and 4:10 gears, so I'll say it 1 more time and then drop it because I didn't realize I would raise so many hackles. I drove 821 miles on 35 gallons of gas and I checked it on 2 calculators. I don't know why it did what it did. Maybe it was because I drove the truck very steady and no mashing the gas. Unless someone broke into my truck and drove to the gas station, filled it up and brought back. I know I can't prove it, but that's what it came out. Sorry if I made anyone think I'm a liar.

Bob

I only have about 3 G's in mine including shift plate and E-fans. I also drive mine to work everyday. I have gotten 19 mpg on the interstate.

I'd like a lightning also but I don't want the payment
