Hydro lock is when coolant or a liquid leaks into the cylinders and when you start the motor somethings gonna happen. Im rebuilding a motor at school because of this it bent the connecting rod then when i took it apart i found out it had a cracked block. So i got a new block and started rebuilding. As far as how to fix it you just have to pull the motor apart and see if it did any damage.
