lightning heads...

whats the difference in the lightning heads and the heads on a stock 5.4 97-03 model?

HI!... The LIGHTNING heads are "P.I' (Power Improved). Just like all the heads on the 5.4 from 1999 to 03 and some limited edition 04's. 97 -98 are non P.I. Basically the LIGHTNING 5.4 and the regular N/A 5.4 long blocks are identical ecept for the pistons. N/A 5.4 has 9.0:1 hypereutectic pistons and the "L" has 8.4:1 forged pistons.

only difference is the lightning has more force behind it when it rockets the plugs out of the cylnder heads :-p

just making sure they were the same. just saw a set on ebay for about$100 delivered
