the engine is pretty much the same it is just the transmission and the differential gearing that is different in the truck the gearing is more for torque and in the stang its more for accel and speed

well its according to the PDF the 01-04 gt 4.6 is the same as the 04+ f150 4.6. if the brackets could be modified the procharger should fit.

This may be a long shot, but the timing chain cover may be changeable too.
