cylinder head help

I need to know if I have the newer heads in my 2002 5.4 sc. The head casting number is rf-2L1 and the heads that are having the spark plug blowout problem is rf75e rfxL rfL1.

If anyone can help please respond.

Thanks

wonder if hes referring to wanting to know if he has PI heads and concerned with the plug blowout issue as well with his heads?

Cool

HI!... In mid 2003 FORD revised the 2-valve P.I heads. They added for threads to the sparkplug holes. 8 threads vs. the old 4 threads. Your 2002 5.4 will still have the 4 thread spark plug holes.

Yep, what Neal said.

If i had the heads off i would install 8 inserts in the plug holes.
