engine replacement questions

It appears that my engine S the bed this weekend. No compresion on the passengers side head. Engine will not turn over at all. Im thinking its the timing chain, due to a problem I had where the tensioner pulley CUT into the timing cover.

How much would it cost to replace a timing chain, and where is a good place to get a REMAN engine?

Its a 97f150 4.6L windsor automatic 4wd

If it were me I'd get a used one. if you could find one with under100k on it you would get an engine that should last 150k more and it looks like your truck is a 97. I dont think a reman one would be worth the risk and money. Ford bult them right the first time most of the time.
