Instrument panel at start up

I have started noticing on my 03 F-150 Supercrew Lariat FX4 that as soon as the engine starts, all of my gauges go to the far right, then come back down to their normal position after about 2 seconds. Any ideas what could be the issue?

Your battery is likely going south. Time for a new one.

You see the same thing on a PCM reset.

Could also be bad connection. One of my battery cable ends had corroded and I had the same fault.

I had some aftermarket clamps from a stereo install. Turns out they were not that great. They were for larger wire than mine and let moisture get trapped inside. They were not installed correctly. It is fixed now though.

Maine is a great state. The kids love it, boating, fishing, swimming etc.
