Are all onboard computers the same? I have a 2007 F-150 XL and Am looking at either the Scanguage II (MGD,s fav) or the MSD dashhawk. Are the available parameters on a Lariat computer the same as the ones available on XL computer? I don’t want to spend the money on a scanguage or Dashhawk and have them not be able to display RPM, Trans temp ETC....

The basic operation is the same between all of them.
The gauge needs to be compatable with the CAN system, based on your profile of a 2007 truck.
