What can I do to improve my f150

I would like to do somethings to my stock 1994 5.0 f150 to increase performance. What the thing I could start with that would help the most. Exaust, airfilter, etc...?

Thanks

Performance heads would make a big difference for around 700 bucks. Add a performance cam too.

Exhaust, intake, cam, heads.....Just open your wallet and start throwing money at it!!!

Best bang for the $$$$, IMO, is gears.

The most performance you can get for your money comes from MAINTENANCE. Keep everything working like new, and the truck will perform better than anything else you can do to it. $1,000 heads won't do squat if the rings are washed out because you didn't change a $2 PCV valve.

Spend $300 on maintenance every year, and you probably won't feel like you NEED to dump any more money into the engine - it'll do everything you want it to.

Thumbs up Good Answer Steve

I like that answer Steve. But (and I know this may sound ignorant) what exactly should that $300 be going towards. Of course I know oil changes, but what other critical things should I be doing/changing on my vehicle on a yearly basis to keep it running like a well oiled machine? Thanks

A good start would be to read the Ford-recommended maintenance schedule. It's pretty comprehensive.

Other than your manual, I asked a question about maintainance and got some responses here Not much but it'll do.
