rough-dead idle

i have a 98 f150 with the triton v-8 and it has about 120k miles on it.

after it is not run for a couple days, when started the idle is very rough and low, and will die out. if i step on the gas it will run higher and for a minute or two then it will run normal and idle normal....

is this my injectors going bad.????

Clean Your MAF Sensor - "slow response"

It could be your IAC - Clean the MAF first -

Hey jmar, I run the 2003 triton v-8 and it occasionally does the same thing. Not like that helps.

The same thing use to happen to me, def clean the IAC and then try the egr and after that try cleanin the throttle body. Replace the fuel filter too if you havent.
