Angry my 05 is cutting power and flashing service light

when i get on the gas of my 05 f150 it starts to hesitate to go. I originally thought it was the valve body in the tranny so it was replaced under warranty and problem seemed solved, but now its back and its worse, i get on the gas and the motor hesitates bad, rpms kinda jump up gradually like jolting the truck, than the engine light flashes and cuts power, it shakes a lil and than goes back to being ok. And its kinda sporatic, it doesn't do it all the time. Its only if really get on it, any idea? its also out of warranty now!!!

I had this happen once to my '05 - then it stopped. About 2 weeks later it did it again, and after driving it about 1/8 mile it needed to be towed.

Long story short - the #5 cylinder's fuel injector was stuck open, constantly dumping fuel in to the motor.

I can't say you're having the same problem, but mine did something similar to this before the injector gave out. Just something to keep in the back of your mind if you take it in to the shop.

You don't need to keep driving it. If it is getting excessive fuel, it can cause it to hydra-lock. Mine did something similar and it was the throttle body.

Since you have a CEL, you'd best get it scanned instead of stabbing around in the dark.
