i have a small problem with my coils going out after putting a chip on my 05 4x4. it has a 5.4 in it. it isnt a huge deal at the moment but if i have to work on too many more of them i will start to worry. for some reason after i put the chip on and would have the RPM's at around 4500 - 5000 right before it was about to shift the engine would miss and i would run a diagnostic from the chip. the diagnostic would come up with the trouble code and say which cylinder had a misfire. what should i do about these misfires? other that lay off the gas a little but that is kind of hard for me to do sometimes
