The Van dash lights and head lights dim then go bright. I have checked the alternator, and it is good. Does anyone have any other ideas on what I might be needing to check?

If it is a rapid instant type of change in headlite brightness, the alternator regulator could be the cause.
Check with an analog voltmeter accross the battery to see this.
You may see good voltage but a change of a volt or so will cause the lights to react to this.
If you can't see much of a change as the lights changes, then suspect a bad ground at some point.
