Need to replace radiator, LFP?

Hello all,

I need to replace the radiator on my 2000 F150 with the 7700# package, 5.4L with a/c. Can someone tell me if the radiator for the Lightning of the same year is a direct replacement? I tried to cross reference the part for my truck with the one for the Lighting but I came up with nothing.
Also, what brand would you recommend for a real good radiator.

Can someone help me please?
Thank you very much.

I found the dealership to have the best price on rads, almost by half. I paid $222 plus tax and it's warrantied a year. I'm pretty sure the Lightning is the same, but because you have the heavy duty, you might wan't to make sure. Physically it may fit but the capacity might be different. If not a Ford replacement, Modine I think is a good replacement.

Hey, just saw you were from Ottawa, so this price I quoted is Canadian by the way. Check Carquest and Canadian Tire too, I think both carry Modine, but the Carquest one might be cheaper and better. Do shop around, like I said, the Ford dealer down here is where I got mine, in Windsor.

I am looking more for an aftermarket that would be better than OEM. Ie, not plastic end caps and all aluminium if possible. That is why I was looking at the LFP brand of radiator.

Oh, than ya, it should physically fit I'd think. Personally, I've had problems not with the plastic, but within the fins itself. Other than that, she's run cool as can be, electric fans helped alot too.
