water dropping off of heat shield ???

this is now the second time but after turning the truck off i have water dripping down from the passenger side heat shield, and i did not have the air conditioning on?

any ideas what this is?

Are you by chance using your defrost/defogger? If so your AC kicks in.

Heater core might be going south, did you have your heater on?

yeah actually i would of had the defogger on low just to keep the window from fogging up... but why would the water drip out from there and not where it does when the a/c is on??
