safe rpm??

I've yet to hit the rev limiter in mine - I have no clue what it's set to and nobody here seems to want to tell me that OR what my recommended redline is. I shift when it FEELS like the power is flattening out, this seems to be around 5000 rpm. I would *assume* the V8's will behave in a very similar fashion unless you change the cams.

Thank you - but I'd still like to find out what the limiter is set for without kicking my odometer into the tach mode and actually winding it till it croaks. I *think* the highest I've gone is about 5200 and it sounds like hell.
