But, this keeps the 1000 code active until the drive cycle passes all tests to auto clear the 1000 code. The only way you see the 1000 code is by reader, since it does not light the CEL lamp.
Put another way, the 1000 code is not a direct fault code but tells you that all tests had not been completed.
Most testing stations use this Pid code to pass or fail you even if there are no DTC codes present. That's why the drive cycle has to be done succesfully.
It make things difficult but that's the way it comes down from the Gov. regulatons to the mfger.
This is one way they get you for any mods that don't pass with the PCM.
They detect it but still don't know what the cause is and don't really care; you fail. Come back later and try again or whatever!
I know that the P1000 keeps coming back as you stated. Im not really worried about that one right now. I konw it will take time of drivign and going through drive cycles to clear that. And i also know that everytime i clear the p0232 code it resets that. I am mainly focasing on the P0232 cuase that in the end is the only code my truck has thrown sincei have owned it.

Any hints? How about the ground to the system? Do you know where that is? Jbrew and me looked at our drawings for it but never did find it.

Way to post as im typing.... LOL Are those the grounds in the kick panels? If so i checked those about a month ago. cleaned and what not to both of them. If the inetia switch had flipped wouldn't i have no fuel. My truck has had plenty of hard bumps and what not. But i have never heard of one being half tripped?
