Swap out my 3.55's with 3.73's?

I have a 4.6 with 3.55 Gears. I really want to have some more torque, especially because I am getting 33" Mud tires. Has anyone swapped out their 3.55 gears with 3.73 gears? Is it a big torque difference? How is your gas mileage? How much does this cost? I dont know much about gear ratio's so any help and idea's would be much appreciated! Thanks

I would go at least 4:10 the differnce between 3:55 and 3:73 wouldnt be worth the cost

I've been considering going from 3.55 to 4.10 for some time. Just need to research it more. For the time and cost, I wouldn't think just going to a 3.73 would make much difference from other comments I've read on this site.

Yea for the money spent 4.10's are the way to go. And with 33's they will make a perfect match.

Hey brice wanted to let ya know that I found those gears. I have both the 8.8 rear and 8.8 reverse (front) gears.

Maybe someone on here that has more knowledge of the older model trucks can help you on that because I am not sure. As far as price/shipping goes, shoot me an PM and we can discuss that there.
