Is this true?

A stock Tundra in the low 14's. I noticed that this is about the same 1/4 time you would get out of an F150 with an SC.

Tundra's are gay and expensive. For the money you save buying the F-150, s'charge it, nos it, or both and you'll fly by him. Hell, buy a used Lightning and put 20g's into it and see what else you don't lose to, vipers, vette's etc. Remember, these things aren't race cars but will tow anything within reason as well as haul enough for a good days work. Might as well have the best looking, most reliable truck in a Ford! My opinion anyways.

I thought even the new Tundra was in the low 15's not 14's and that the Toyota may not have been as stock as descirbed. Can someone confirm that the new Tundras are indeed 14 second trucks?

Edmunds.com Test Results - Double-Cab 4x4 5.7L Tundra

"Unleashing this powertrain down the drag strip, we recorded a stunning 0-60-mph time of 6.3 seconds, while the quarter-mile came up in 14.8 seconds at 93.7 mph..... Mind you, this is a Double Cab 4x4 truck that weighs 5,637 pounds."

Wouldn't surprise me at all if the standard-cab short-bed 4x2 was half a second quicker.
