would a 429 big block that came out of an old mercury fit in my 97 f150?

 

you would have to modify the hell out of your truck but I dont see why it wouldnt fit..

 

If your willing and have the skill you can make just about any engine fit, will it just drop in, no it won't. Modification will be necessary, not just to get that big block in, but to fit a tranny and driveline as well.

 

what would give you more horsepower a set of e fans or a set of headers
