RPM Drop

My 06 5.4 with troyer 87 perf tunes drops 200 RPM when shifting frorm 2nd to 3rd at about 1/4 throttle. It dosen't miss or stumble it just drops rpm and then picks up real good instead of powering right on through.By the way it's an auto tranny.Any thoughts? Thanks in advance..

RPM is supposed to drop when it upshifts - it's not a CVT.

So does mine. It even changes with the lockup on and off.
Think I could get it fixed for a few clams?

I understand the rpm drop when going to a higher gear. This is like a partial power loss feels like someone pulled the plug for a second then picks up like it just got a shot in the azz. Hope this sorta kinda explanes it better.

It's probably your lockup torque converter. If it's dropping RPMs in a gear before it shifts, that's the torque converter locking up. Mine does that, it especially does it when towing. It's normal.
