Question Wiring Harness Question

Alright well i'm new to this site, but anyways i am swapping motors in my truck. 4.9 to the 5.0. i know it isn't a big difference. the 5.0 is out of a '90 and my truck is a '92. is there a different wiring harness from '90 to'92 for the 5.0? my dad and have been looking at my truck to the truck i just bought and we noticed that the wiring is completely different running into the cab.we know the computers will need to be swapped to but what we wondering is that will the '92 5.0 wiring from the motor plug right into mine? maybe then i can go to a junkyard and buy one so that we don't have to tear out my dash. any input on this is greatly appreciated.

Get a '92-95 F150 5.0L (non-MAF) engine harness or a '92 Bronco 5.0L engine harness for the closest to PnP. Then lay the new harness onto the old engine.

BTW
You'll also need to bolt the V8 engine perches onto your frame, swap the radiator, & possibly modify the dash harness. You need to spend a LOT of time comparing the Haynes wiring diagrams, but you'll be MUCH better off with a Ford service disk. You can get them from some of the vendors here, eBay, or e-mail me about one.

Another good resource for info on which EEC to use is http://rjminjectiontech.com/ & his older site http://www.fordfuelinjection.com/ .
