Ok , I give up , what is it?

It's not on any illustration I have , it was hanging by the rear axle and laying on top of the tank.

I found the paperwork - my rear canistor was replaced 8/2004. Did they just leave this there , Is this just old vent piping ?

Theres a cacoon in the pipe in one pic ..-

I can't say for sure but that looks alot like a part that plugs into the top of the gas tank??Not sure what it's called??If it is that part it is towards the back of the gas tank and you push it in and turn it to lock it.I think it was more towards the outside of the tank.

Looks like the "canister vent solenoid hose assembly". Go to the Engine section 303-13 in your Ford DVD under Evaporative Emission System and see what you think.

Everything in the EVAP is connected - I thought it was #9 , but that's connected..? It could be that deal on the far side (drivers side) - I couldn't find one of those - what do you make of that thing?

Thanx Torkum - canister vent solenoid hose assembly.

Well , from I can see it plugs into the back of solenoid (in the back of number 9) from what I 've read , there's a a vent on the tank . I think I'm missing some parts - I still can't find that box deal - unless it's between the top of the tank and bottom of the bed?

They show a 1 2 turn combination to remove a vent from the tank. On the drawing it shows a separate box?

Idunno, the bill said whatever they replaced in 2004 cost $58. Looks like I would have to go the dealer.

Never had a cell - I thought I may be loosing Throttle body pressure back there because my power assist sucks - the illustration shows this - throttle body to purge valve then a b-line to the rear canister..

Thank for the help all.
