"Fluttering Squeak"

Always tough to describe the problem but, so far, found no cure. At every start after warm up, within about 3 or 4 seconds, this fluttering squeak runs for about 3 or 4 seconds, then disappears. Comes from around the front area of the passenger side head/exhaust manifold. I have the 4.6 with 105,000km. Not can phasers, not a pulley or belt. One guess has been the timing chain guide at the front of the head as it supposedly needs to build up oil pressure before the guide properly aligns the chain? The Ford tech with his stethescope figures it's the gasket/wafer where the exhaust manifold attaches to the head. This sounds more logical as these things are known for their exhaust leaks and broken studs. Sounds like dry metal-on-metal for the short time it happens, it stops, then doesn't come back until the engine is shut down and restarted.
Any further ideas?

Has the fan clutch been ruled out positively?

Not near the fan clutch. No luck in making a positive identification of the problem. Closest thing so far is the exhaust manifold gasket/wafer explanation from the Ford technician. Even he wasn't 100% certain but said that I'd likely find that it was the problem. Onwards we go.
