i have a 1993 ford f-150 w/a 4.9L I6 NOT 4X4
what is the stock mpg?
and after k&n filters and Flowmaster single output exaust?

I only get 11.5 mpg with the above
someone told me to replace oxygen sensor and i did (it was original) will this help? what else could it be

Complete tune up with new plugs, wires, fuel filter, clean throttle body and intake, check mass air sensor, make sure tires are properly inflated, remove un- needed cargo in bed and cab, take off easy from stopped, and coast alot. The 4.9L in-line six is a torque monster, with kinda poor mpg ratings.

 

I'd say 13-14ish MPG. Possibly a little more with the exhaust and filter. If you can get away with it, gutting your cat(s) could also help.
