When I first start my truck in the morning, I hear what sounds to be a belt squeal and loud clicking. After a few seconds, the squeal goes away, but the clicking sound is still there - not as loud, but there. I thought at first it was an exhaust leak, but the sound seems to be coming from around the valve covers. Even after driving for a while - the clicking is still there. Could this be the valves or rods? The truck is an 04 Lariat SC with the 5.4L.
