well it was like 95% humidity, and i was sweating, it was almost 90, but still, it felt very hot, or i wouldnt have had the a/c on, which was only on for about 30 min, and its the first time ive seen it get that hot, i dont watch that gauge, but something felt funny, like it was being a dog taking off, and it was about 1/8" from the red... wonder how hot that is? I had to drive 5 more minutes b4 i could pull over, i got it cooled down good then. I'm going to stick with the 2 fans I have now, I believe they work just fine, its just a matter of what to do with a shroud now... My new engine will have a new water pump in it, so if thats my reason, which i doubt, it will be fixed. the coolant was replaced about 40k ago... does that water wetter stuff really work?

well its very possible your waterpump is going out, or your rad is clogged up. You can also try a weaker mix of antifreeze, like 40/60 or 30/70 (antifreeze/water) Since water is what holds the heat when being taken out of the engine. Dont forget to use distilled water

you can usual feel some play in pump but you will have to remove or loosen you fan belt first
