best plugs and wires

best plugs and wires

ok iam going to do the plugs and wires on the rig this weekend. ot a 03 screw with the 4.6. what is the best plugs and wires should i get.

the best plugs would be denso iridiums, but expect to pay $10 each. I have 10.5/1 compression, and not many plugs like that, the iridiums are amazing. Im not sure on the wires, being as I dont have them.

i wouldnt reccomend iridiums for your setup. they burn too hot. id stick with motorcraft but get theyre platinums.

Everybody has their on preferance. Some like Motorcraft some like Autolite some like the Denso. ChiefFX4 is correct in that some Denso's are to hot, but in talking to Troyer Performance they had an ignition upgrade kit that had a lower temp Denso iridium plug for stock and slightly engines. I installed this upgrade about 4 months ago and have been quiet plesed with it. Don't buy cheap plugs they will not last and you will be putting new ones in again in about 6 months.

ive gone with autolite platinums and wires on my f150 and crown vic. no problems at all.
