Time For A Tune Up

Well my truck has close to 100k Kms on it now and i was planning on doing a tune up on it and im just curious what types of things i should look at doing to the truck. Im hoping ill pick up a little bit of power doing it but will be happy with any results. Below is the list of things i was looking at getting for the truck and if you guys have anything to add that would be great.

Spark Plugs
fuel filter
o2 sensors
tranny flush
coolant flush

and i was thinking about maybe swapping to an electric fan setup and cutting out the cats. Anything else i should add?

So what is that 62,000 miles fahrenheit

Sounds like a good plan to me - might check the air filter as well and clean the MAF sensor

E-fans are nice - I would just gut the front cats - A long 3/4" auger bit works well ..

Might want to check the COP's. IT might be time to think about those also.

If you have the 2004 5.4 3v engine, I would let the dealership change the plugs. Spark plugs, as you know, on this particular engine are prone to break. To help with the spark plugs removal, have a carbon removal treatment done to your engine before pulling the plugs.

Ya ive already gotten a quote for getting the plugs done at the dealership so i was probably just going to take it to them. I was pondering cop's but all ive seen for my truck is the gms ones and they are a little more than i wanted to spend right now. Do i have any other options besides the gms ones?

I think I might try the ACCELS next since there so cheap. Theres been problems with the Granetellies - I think Neal tried those and they were shutting his truck down on him..

ACCELS or MBlues are a step up.
