are 5.4 heads interchangable with 4.6?

THanks a bunch there Klitch... I know thats what i want in the long run but the cost of doing that is a problem. I cant space it all out. Its all or nothing.

Oh well.... If a few more people yell at me maybe ill just break down and scrap the money up and just get it out of the way.

Yeah i ahve been kinda watching that post for some time. Whos right and whos wrong in the end. I thought all 04+ had three valves.... Right????

I agree... You would think that ford would see a good thing when they have it on so many other engines. The 4.6 in the mustang is a 3 valve... i belive

So im still unsure about the whole pi's from a 5.4. Did the part numbers differ from the 4.6?
