Crate Engine?

Hey,
This might be a stupid question, but I have a 2004 4.6L F150 (New Body Style). I was wondering, is there any companies out there that make a crate engine that could be dropped into this truck?

Thanks,
Stephen G.

a pushrod motor isn't going to drop in.

If your looking for torque, get a 5.4L from a 01+ and put a mild cam in it. No need for a fancy build, a used factory motor will be cheap and run great.

Ya that pushrod motor would be a lot of work to put in, but if you dont mind fighting with the computer and alot of custom work it would probably make for one mean f150.

Besides costing 50% more tan you could build one for, it is DOHC and would involve a lot of wiring. You can get 440hp out of a 2v too, but either that or the DOHC will be torqueless until 3500 rpm.
