V6s Rule

I have a V6 with 131K miles on it and it will still bark the tires in 2nd. I have raced and beat v8 Tahoes and many other V8 vehicles even though I have 265/75/16(very tall) tires.

To get power, add a K&N filter(drop-in is cheaper, with slightly less performance). I also bought a tuner off of ebay for $50. It increases gas mileage and adds power. I have yet to install my underdrive pulley of which I had great results on my previous V6 Ranger as far as added horsepower and gas mileage. You can also install electric fans to lessen the parasitic loss of horsepower on the engine. If you raise the gear ratio IE: 3.73 to 4.10, you will gain acceleration, but loose gas mileage and top end.

I hope this helps!

Remember: V6's have more fun.
