easy power?

Hey,
I have a 2004 f150 4.6L xlt triton. I have installed a K&N cold air intake and a single input - dual output flowmaster exhaust. I was wondering if there was anything that i could bolt on that isn't extremly expensive to add some power?

Yes - Depends what tune your using I think , I don't have one myself. The way I understand it with the XCAL 2 you get three tunes - Economy, Race and Tow.

I think economy would be 87 octane but I 'm not sure.

Someone will chime in I'm sure and give you the lowdown. But it works something like that.

I've heard that the 04 - present models a tuner is a real benefit..Look in the superchips forum, just click on forums above and scroll down to chips and tuners.

BTW - Welcome aboard

Superchips makes a flashpaq programmer(#1815) that has 3 settings performance, tow and 87octane mode. Seems to work really well on my 2006 with a 5.4L, also lets you mess with shift points and pressures as well as tire sizes DTC's etc...Im happy with this unit so far.
