Well brew its time to confess, I still have my 98' F150 with the 4.6, but 2 weeks ago I bought a 03' with a 5.4 and its a ANIMAL. Its a Supercrew 4X4 with K&N CAI, Magnaflow Cat Back dual exhaust, and the thing that I think makes the BIG difference is 3:73 rear gear - WOW! The difference between the two trucks on power is huge. Still a big fan of the 4.6 but the 5.4 will be my weapon of choice from now on.

Oh Yeah!!

Man I've only got 42K so far but my brother Jake has 240K on his 95 Regular Cab 5.0L, my brother Josh has 318K on his 96 Extended Cab 5.8L, we just ripped and reinstalled the engine in my buddy's 97 Scab 4.6L (and added some goodies, including some badda$$ longtubes, in the process), and before that we wrenched a little on another friends 95 Eddie Buaer and it's back to strong with over 220K. My cousin just took his lifted 03 ScabFX4 5.4L down to Florida and is now workin on a 91 Bronco with a 5.0 and 38's.

My Dad's got a 99 Ram w/70K miles and just last month had to cough up a couple grand to get his tranny rebuilt.

But as for the rest of us RIDIN FORD TOUGH... We be doin aright!!!

I like the looks of the 97-03 better than the new style. I'm not just saying that because I own one.

75k. My 1990 F-150 I sold before I bought this had 160,000 and I see it running up and down the road all the time (4 years later). He doesn't keep it as purdy as I did but it is still rolling!! I have the cash in the bank for a Lightning now, just waiting for the right one and right time. Of course it has to be red. Well I do kinda like that blue, that would give me the all american colors. My Expy. is red, my wife's is white and then the blue Lightning. Just might be the ticket!!

Sounds Good

I just bought another 98 with the massive 4.2L V6 - haven't gotter home yet, plates and insurence this week - It's for my daughter. So she'll quit wanting to borrow mine !! She just got her license - it's a good first vehicle for her - mine doesn't have a dent in her , I want to keep it that way..

That last snowfall she was driving with me riding shotgun. I told her not to turn to sharp in 4WD - I didn't explain on hard ground only good enough and she disengaged 4WD to quick for me to catch her and then she goosed that 5.4L pulling out of a parking lot , went sidways and stopped sliding when we hit the curb. While I was turning red , she got on it again after she put back into 4WD . Well , I made sure she understood after that , but that freakin curd scrapped the white paint off the letters on my tire. Could have been worse , she's has to much fun with a V8 under the hood..

Nice Truck!! Very low miles.. You ever think about going with long tubes - at least a 20hp gainer. With the 5.4L anyway , the dyno showed no gains with shorty's..

Just curios why you went with the shorty's?

BTW - I like those square fogs mo-bettuh than those round ones. Looks good..

The easiest way is to import photo's from your desktop into your F150 online gallery that you make yourself..

Or email me one @ jbrew965@mac.com and I'll put it here for yuh
