That would be funny to see - just say - Dad , just trust me on this one , uhmm, wheres the SawZall

I had flowmaster 50 series for awhile , that wasn't like 40's - after swapping for the Magnaflow , it was quieter until yuh got on it and it was great .. I removed the rear cats and it was awesome!!

But don't remove or gut the fronts - I just did that - what a mistake - I 'm in the process of correcting the situation - it's up 3 feet in the air out in the shop right now lol..

The safe way to go on the exhaust is to get rid of the old cat setup - the whole thing and get one MAGNAFLOW HF cat per side - very O2 friendly and will pass Emissions - but best of all , she'll breath and perform as well . Definitely get better mileage than the 4 cat design ..

What do you want it to sound like ? quiet ? loud? I like the GT sound at take off - so do the woman

Get rid of the rear cats and replace with a strait pipe - leave the front ones alone and put a half way decent muffler in the back and you'll have good sound and more pickup..
So whaddayado with the rear 02 sensors if you yard out the rear cats?

Leave them where there at - in the pipe.

The O2 sensors arent't installed in the cats ..

O2 's read and switch fine ..

I'll take some pics when I go out there in a little bit.

IMO gut the fronts, and leave the backs. You are guaranteed not to throw a code.

I ran my sea foam through the IAC. Paul showed me how to do it. He said it cleans out the IAC that way too.

What if?

So, if I scrap the whole 9 yards and put in the high flow maggies, I just screw the stock front 02 sensors in the maggies, and leave the rears in the pipe? Will that mod. dork my custom TP ex-cal tunes in any way?

no O2s get screwed into the cats, they go in the pipes before and after.
