BTW, you're not supposed to use the whole can in there. Forgot what the instructions say (1/3?).

I just slowly pour the Seafom in there. Didn't really want it to stall before I had put in everything. Shut it off for 15 mins, the turned it on. Smoked like crazy, then drove the smoke out of the car. Also put some in the oil crankcase, then proceeded to change the oil after "smoking it out."

It's a cleaning agent from what I hear - cleans up the throttle body inards , injectors, etc.

Quite a few people have done it and they seem to like it..

IMO - It's snake oil and I wouldn't put that crap in my motor ..

Thumbs down

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Snake oil. Or if you choose differently.....if it ain't broke, fix it until it is.

Where did the cable break at ?

Bad Mileage? -

Throttle body cleaned - (by hand) - polished is best - Intake an exhaust have to match up somewhat - Two front O2's have to be in good shape and motorcraft plugs should be in her with a somewhat fresh set of COP's - you shoud see 16mpg easy..

You could have got a tank of sh^ty gas if this just happened ..

the cable broke right at the peddle, next to the fire wall. it wouldnt have been so bad, but it was all frayed.
i cleaned the throttle body about 3 months ago. as for the intake and exhaust, i know, im about to order a magnaflow. the 02's are only a couple of years old, i had to replace them because there were throwing codes. motorcraft plugs are next on the list. and i thought i didnt have cop's? right now im getting like 10-12 mpg

Your Right , you have the coil pacs, my mistake - But yeah , that's below average mileage .. Do they test emissions or what not where you are ? - I guess most states do some kind of vehicle check nowadays .

The safe way to go on the exhaust is to get rid of the old cat setup - the whole thing and get one MAGNAFLOW HF cat per side - very O2 friendly and will pass Emissions - but best of all , she'll breath and perform as well . Definitely get better mileage than the 4 cat design ..

What do you want it to sound like ? quiet ? loud? I like the GT sound at take off - so do the woman

Get rid of the rear cats and replace with a strait pipe - leave the front ones alone and put a half way decent muffler in the back and you'll have good sound and more pickup..

the do test emissions but its just the computer check, they dont stick the thing in the tailpipe anymore. ive been looking at some maggie high flows, but my dad is weary about me doing stuff like that to the truck. since he still pays for most of it, i kinda have to do what he says. im going for a loud rumble. right now, my flow is rediculously loud. i set off 3 car alarms just i my work parking lot today. it would be alot better though if there wasnt so much drone. thats why ive been looking for a good maggie. i think im gonna get a 14" from performancepeddler. but once again, my dad. he wasnt to excited about me getting the other muffler in the first place, and as far as he is concerned, that muffler is the reason i have horrible gas mileage.
so what should i do?
