Help - Engine Sputter & Shake

Hey everyone,

Last night while driving home my '06 FX4 started to shake like we were driving over some really rough road, and under accel. it was pretty gutless.

I looked down at the fuel gauge, and it read almost 1/4 tank - I bought it new in the Fall, so the gauge should be working properly. I shut the truck down at the closest gas station, filled it up, and then started it back up. No problems. I drove it work this morning again - no problems.

What should I do? Could it be the fuel gauge? Or perhaps the computer acting up? Something else?

I have to bring it in for an oil change ASAP, so when in I'll have them run the codes and see what's up.

could be water got past the boot on the coil over plug and caused a miss. happens to me if its really humid outside and it eventually will boil out.

Have the dealer run a history on each cylinder;that way you will have a good idea which cop is malfunctioning.
