NO What is the Best OIL Thread

It is 8AM on May 31st and I can't believe it that there isn't a single thread yet starting the Best Oil debate!!!

Motor Oil is like beer. All beer is good - some beers are better than others!!

That's because it has now universally been accepted that using motor oil is a conspiracy by big oil to get you to buy more of their product. We just drained out engines of all oil, added in some water to flush out what was left, and living happily ever after!

The best oil is the recommended weight that meets the Ford specs for your year and engine. For mine that's 5W-20, 930 spec. I prefer a full synthetic but you can't go wrong with the Motorcraft semi-synthetic or any other oil that meets that spec. Right now I have Valvoline Synpower in it but will be switching to Mobil 1 next change.
