I have a 2002 F150.5.4 Just curious what would be the biggest engine HP/TQ wise I could fit in my truck. Also, what trans would work best with that engine.

 

I guess your talking about a swap. For sure a bored and stroked 460 and a C-6 auto would be what you want. They are getting crazy cubes out of a 460. Hard to beat there reliability too. Your talking a lot of money though. You can get great power out of a budget 460 build too. And it is hard to beat a C-6 auto for handling power

 

there's a 6.2 stroker crank for the 5.4 enginesm it's expensisve though or you can find a gt supercar engine...
