The most direct way is to suck about 8oz. in through your brake-booster line, while the truck is running. Turn the truck off for about 10-15 minutes then start it and drive it like you stole it. (It's gonna be pretty hard to start at first, dont get too scared). Enjoy the smoke.

There is only 1 brake booster vacuum hose. No that hose will not regulate the flow, you have to be very careful with that. I hold the hose at a angle and the Seafoam at an opposite angle to it. The vacuum from the hose is strong enough to pull it out of the can with very little effort.
Hey, What a coincidence... I have a 98 4.6 with about 170K on it, and it had never been seafomed. About a week after I did it, got a nice leak in the head gasket. (replacing engine while I'm out of town). Did the Seafoam cause it? who knows, but I'm not risking it again. I wouldn't if I were you especially since it had never been done.
how long should this take and what should i expect from the engine reactions. Do i shut the truck off right after it gets done and let it sit for a while then go drive it. Thats what i assume
I wouldn't shut it off...suck it in and leave it run until it stops 'choking' then go drive it. Most of the time you get a check engine light.

Remove brake booster vac line.
Insert line into Seafoam can.
Start allowing the vac line to suck about 1/2 quantity of the can.
Imediately turn engine off.
Let sit 15 minutes.
Start engine and drive in a lower gear, maintain 2-3000 rpm until spoking stops.
You want to let the engine sit to allow the Seafoam to disolve the carbon deposits on pistons and valves.

Yeah , stuffing that SeaWiz down here throat until she just about dies isn't any good for her.
It forces the motor to run in a unfamiliar way (from the norm) - that's when stuff tends to break .
Hell , it only takes a couple hours to manually clean the TB yourself - That's a better way all around
