Question Engine Misfire

My son has a 98 F-150 with the 4.6 engine.

Today it started missing badly, took it to auto-zoo & they said the engine showed a misfire code for cylinders #6,7, & 8, and also a lean code??

This engine has 2 coil packs does this sound like the problem, or does he have to take this to ford for a more professional diagnosis???

The engine has new plugs & wires, last week #6 plug was fouled.

Any ideas or suggestions. Thanks William

If I remember correctly 6, 7, and 8 use both coil packs, 1 on one pack and 2 on the other or something like that. Being that 6,7,8 are all one the same bank, I would lean towards maybe a blown head gasket, or something mechanical on that side
