p 1056 code. Question

Hey, truck has thrown a p 1056 code o2 sensor (bank 2, sensor 2). Just wondering what that could be. I replaced the pass. side o2 sensor after the cat, deleted and it came back so I'm stumped

That isn't a valid code, You may have a PO156.

P0156 Heated O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2, Sensor 1)

Drivers side (Bank 2) Forward (Sensor 1) O2 Malfunction - Prolly not Switching.

This is the most common O2 sensor that has failed with these motors.

Replace this one

I really hate getting codes from tuners..

You never know if they're valid...

Can't he go the Auto Zone route - to double check?

You might want to do that if theres one close by - to verify .

Like I said , the code you posted insn't valid .

I'm 90% sure it's bank 2 sensor one - pull your new one out and swap them if you want it fixed..

Why are you surprised when a faulty diagnostic procedure results in a faulty diagnosis??????

Start over and do it right the next time.

....besides, bank 2 is the driver's side, not the passenger side...
