Bad fuel pump?

I was driving along in my truck today when the engine just shuts off. Radio, fan, everything electrical seems to be working. I coast into a parking lot and try to start it up. It turned over, but didn't seem to be getting any gas. After sitting there for about ten minutes, I try again, and it starts right up.

Sound like a fuel pump going out? It's a 2000 with the 4.6 V8.

If it's the fuel pump, is this something I should have a shop replace? I've heard you have to drop the fuel tank to get to it.

Thanks

Typically with fuel pumps, it will sputter first, or seem to die out while under a load. Pressure test your fuel system (with a clean filter). I'd be leaning more towards a coil or something.
