Joking with yuh mason. Say , what kind of car is that? What's it got for a motor - rubber bands

And what's that thing in the front bumper - It looks like my dryer vent cover. If I still have one

Drive safe -

2002 WRX. Rubber bands?!? Well, it's less than half the size of the F150's engine (2.0L) but now I get twice the gas mileage (near 20 city) and a bit more power (227 stock, so probably around 250-275 now) and half the weight (3200 lbs). Plus, I get to hear my turbocharger whistling all the time!
That "dryer vent cover" in the front is my front-mounted intercooler. Thanks for the replies guys. Talk to ya soon. Oh, and Kevin - a mustang? Nah, I just don't like how they look. I know they're probably decent cars, and have the potential to be fast, but I just don't like the look. I bet that sounds funny after looking at my car though. I know it's on the ricey side, but it's fast, kind of economical, and is a lot more fun to drive than anything else I've ever driven.

It's nice to see that you guys are being cool about my decision and not giving me too much ****e. NASIOC is the forum I've been on recently, and it sucks. There is a HUGE amount of awesome info there, but I think it's a "search only" forum for me. Most anything that gets posted there will be ripped to shreds and you'll be sorry you ever stuck your head in there. ClubWRX is cool though, so I'll hang in there sometimes. Ya, my car's got a big exhast, but oh well. I could cook rice in about 30 seconds flat with it. My truck was hard to sell. It took a lot longer than I thought it would, and I didn't get what I wanted for it, but I did alright. I have to say, I do miss sitting up high and having a nice big interior, but hey, I didn't need it. I guess I don't really need a turbocharged rice rocket either, but at least I can park it when I get into a parking structure.

Na i won't give ya too much chit!!!I would be pissed to if my truck gave me all that grief
Oh and i forgot you need some stickers for that ricer. They are worth like 10 horsepower per sticker
One last thing though when that car breaks you better be ready to fork out some $$$ for parts and labor That is when you will realize you should have gotten the Mustang

No way man. If a stang breaks down twice as often as the subie, but costs half to repair, it's all the same with less down time. I had the timing belt and water pump replaced for $225, parts and labor. Not too bad really. Hopefully the trans lasts a while, and it should because it's been beefed up. That's supposedly the weakest part of the WRX (the STi has a 6 speed that's much more durable, so I've read). I wonder how I'd hold up to a GT in a race? I'm sure I'd be close, if not beat it. Anything more (cobra) would kill me for sure though. I'm not one to street race, I'm just comparing speeds. And no, I never fixed my stupid idle problem. I have a friend with the same truck I had, but a 2000 rather than my 2003, and I started his truck and sat in it, then drove it and it felt EXACTLY like mine. Crap idle. Other than that, it was a decent truck.
