bad engine 97 triton

Yep, it's a windsor so you could have either pattern, which is no big deal, if your's is the 8 bolt, you can buy the 6 bolt flywheel to fit your truck

huh?

i thought the windsor was 8 and romeo was 6. there was no mixing of the 2? meaning why the hell would a windsor have 6bolt?

I checked it with alldata and the windsor came both ways

was that vehicle specific? we got stangs that use romeo and windsor as well.

Sure is. Thats straight from alldata for a 98 Ford F150 w/4.6. I guess Ford just puts any of the 4.6's in depending on build location.

nice

thanks for the info , im stlill thinking about the engine lastorm , problem is i m all the way down here in south florida , and is a little far away from where you at, i may just buy a block from a junk yard, the other day i found one of a mark viii ( doch, aluminum block )for 175$ (hole engine with heads ), i may buy it , but really thanks all you guys
