Noise From Engine
1999 f150 140,000km.
Hi, what does a bad compressor sound like?
I have a really loud racket coming from my engine compartment. Previously the mech. replaced a serpentine belt and showed me the tension arm he replaced. the noise dissapeared somewhat. (bad diagnostic?)
On a return visit the mech. turned off my defroster and says its the compressor on my air conditioner??? come back in the spring time.
The noise has disappeared. Ami doing any damage running the truck without having this repaired? and is this the problem???
