Post Fuel Milage vs Temp

Has anyone noticed a correlation between ambiant temp. and fuel milage. And yes, I know there are summer and winter blend fuels. I am in New England where we have had a warm spike but are still running the winter blend. I have definitly noticed that my milage increases in the warmth. Does anyone have a datalogger to check engine temp, ambiant temp, and pulse width?? Do you have an e-fan/s? Is it possible the 5.4 runs too cold, severely afecting miliage at lower (sub 40 deg. F) temps? Speculation is cheap! Who has some Data???

I use more gas when it's warmer out because I put more miles on the rig!! I tend to tow the setup in my sig a lot during the warmer times and that tends to suck the gas a bit more!

I know that's not what you are asking, but I can't tell a difference for the most part... All I know is the price of gas keeps going up, so does the cost to fill the tank... I fill the tank at the same number of miles that I always get out of a tank, so my mpgs are not changing..... It's just the cost to fill it that does!!

This summer is going to be an expensive one at over $3.21/gallon as of today, and I would not be surprised to see $3.50 by mid summer.... I'm still going to fill my tank and I'm still going to pull the trailer!

I just won't be buying much of anything else, so all the other merchants that would be getting some of my $$ is going to be a little lighter on sales is all.... Too bad, because that's how others keep gas in their tanks.....
