Need some help with this Vin.

Guys I'm thinking about buying another salvage f-150 to rebuild. I'm going to buy it off Ridesafely and they only give a portion of the Vin:1FTPW12585K. I was wondering if someone could tell me if this is a 5.4L 4x4 vehicle. They say it’s a 2005 f-150 screw and it shows it’s a king ranch addition. But I can't tell from the pictures if it’s a 5.4 or 4.6 2 or 4 wheel driver vehicle. Thanks in Advance. If I've posted in the wrong place please move this thread.MP

There is enough to get your answers but I only have data for an 02.
The P = GVWR 7001 to 8000 lbs.
The W12 is the identifier of 4x2 or 4x4. I don't have that number for 05.
The 5 is the engine ID. I don't have that either.
The 8 is a gov. id #.
The 5 is the year 2005.
The K is Kansas plant build.
Someone with later data can give you the motor and drive train type.

This information came from the Ford Fleet website. It's the quickest place (I think) to find a lot of information you might be interested in.

1FT - Ford USA truck completed vehicle
P - 7,001 - 8,000 lb. GVW
W12 - F-series 4x2 Screw Styleside
5 - 3 valve 5.4 SOHC
8 - check digit
5 - 2005 Model year
K - Kansas City plant

The FleetFord site has lots of free info, including a VIN decoder (for complete VINs) & several PDFs with VIN breakdowns.
