5.0 bolt size

Does anyone remember what size the bolts are to mount the bell housing to a 5.0 H/O? I have to mount one to the stand tomorrow, after i pick it up. i can't remember, and I need to buy the bolts.

Bolting a 302 to an engine stand would be 7/16'' by I can't remember how long. Just make it about 1'' longer than the engine stand pieces. If you have to get some flat washers also.

I use 7/16'' bolts that are 3'' long. Just make sure you have some washers

7/16" is only the diameter. There's a fine thread pitch which is 20, & a coarse which is 14. I think they're coarse, but I don't have any handy to check.

Length should be 1/2" longer than the tubes on the engine stand. The holes in the block aren't 1" deep, so that's too much extra.

My stand has the box tube then it has an extended circle tube.
